Employment and Ecological Transition Study
Study ‘Employment and ecological transition. Sources of employment, labour transformation and training challenges in sectors related to climate change and biodiversity in Spain’.
The Ministry for Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge (MITECO), through the Fundación Biodiversidad and the Spanish Climate Change Office, has published the study ‘Employment and ecological transition. Sources of employment, labour transformation and training challenges in sectors related to climate change and biodiversity in Spain’.
This study identifies the sources of employment, new profesional skills and technical and professional capabilities needed in the ecological transition process, in order to effectively address the needs and challenges established in national strategies and plans from the labour market, and also to achieving the social and territorial integration of our country.
In order to contribute to respond to the needs detected in the study, the Fundación Biodiversidad, as the Intermediate Management Body of the European Social Fund Plus (ESF+), is launching this new stage of the Programa Empleaverde+.
