Red Emprendeverde
Launched in 2011, it is the strategic tool of the Programa Empleaverde for promoting the creation and consolidation of new companies that contribute to a green recovery, the conservation of biodiversity and an ecological and fair transition, through innovative tools and services to support entrepreneurs.
Historical Empleaverde
Since 2001, the Fundación Biodiversidad has been the managing body of the European Social Fund, participating in the Entrepreneurship and Lifelong Learning (2000-2006) and Adaptability and Employment (2007-2013) Programmes.
European Social Fund Plus
The European Social Fund Plus (ESF+) is the European Union’s main instrument for investing in people and implementing the European Pillar of Social Rights, contributing to a more Social Europe; to economic, social and territorial cohesion in accordance with Article 174 TFEU and to the achievement of the objectives set out in the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
Empleaverde+ is plus because:
It supports transformative projects with learning-by-doing methodologies as well as other training projects for the ecological transition.
New themes at the focus of the programm, such as the bioeconomy, restoration or green infrastructure, are covered, along with the various policies related to the green transition. Policies contributing to MITECO’s strategies, are also addressed.
Entities. Projects may be implemented by groups of beneficiaries.
Duration and funding. Projects of up to two years and 2 million euros.
Synergies. Projects financed by other funds are promoted, stregthening the coherence, potential and impact of the projects.
Practical, professionalised and focused on meeting current and future demand.
